Taylor Swift surprises at TEU, duets on 'Love Story' with Lainey Wilson
Taylor Swift showed up at Travis Kelce’s Tight End University concert at Nashville’s The Pinnacle Tuesday night to deliver a surprise performance of her 2008 hit "Love Story." Toward the end of Lainey Wilson’s Tight Ends & Friends set, Wilson told the crowd, "I don’t think y’all are ready for what’s about to happen," and welcomed Swift to the stage.
Swift, in an asymmetrical black dress with a ruffled silver hem, asked the band, "Do you wanna do 'Love Story'?" She quipped the song was a "special request by a very special tight end," naming George Kittle. Swift sang the first verse, Wilson took the second and they joined on the chorus; at the bridge the 14-time Grammy winner flashed her engagement ring when she reached the lyric "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring." The crowd went berserk and some audience members cried.
The concert, presented by Reese’s, also featured Dan + Shay, Chase Rice, Hardy, Kane Brown and others.
