Taylor Swift has confirmed she wrote and performed an original song for Toy Story 5 titled "I Knew It, I Knew You." The announcement follows a series of Toy Story–themed billboards featuring the initials "TS" and the clouds from Andy’s bedroom, a social post with 13 clouds that sparked fan speculation, and a countdown on Swift’s website on Apr.

30. The song is set to debut on Jun. 5, ahead of Toy Story 5’s release on Jun. 19. Pre-sales begin today on Swift’s official website for three exclusive CD editions: the single as it appears in the film, plus special acoustic and piano versions, each with unique vocals and production.

On Instagram Swift wrote that she had “always dreamed of getting to write for these characters” she adored since she was five and that she wrote the song as soon as she saw the film in its early stages. "Sometimes you just know, right," she added. The song is inspired by Jessie, the cowgirl toy, and sees Swift return to her country roots with a track co-written by Jack Antonoff.
