Taylor Sheridan’s 5-Part Western Sensation Returns to Streaming
Taylor Sheridan has built a vast neo-western universe on television, and one of its flagship shows has returned to the streaming charts. Yellowstone, which began in 2018 and introduced the Dutton family and their Yellowstone Ranch beside Yellowstone National Park, is back on Paramount+ eight years after its debut.
The five-season series starred Kevin Costner and featured Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Wes Bentley, Jefferson White, Gil Birmingham and many more. The core series ended in 2024 and launched a wave of spin-offs and prequels. In 2026, Marshals and Dutton Ranch arrived to continue the Sheridan universe, albeit to mixed reviews, while prequels 1883 and 1923 have already aired and a third, 1944, is on the way.
At the time of writing, Yellowstone ranks fourth on Paramount+ globally, with Dutton Ranch at number one, Marshals third and Tulsa King among the platform's Top 10.
