Taylor Frankie Paul says she's 'emotionally numb' amid custody battle

Taylor Frankie Paul confessed she’s "gone emotionally numb" as her custody battle with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, continues. She shared the update on Instagram Stories in response to a fan who said they were "going through your exact situation." "I don’t know what to say anymore other than I’m right there with a lot of you," Paul wrote.

"Not sure when the nervous system switched… I can’t even cry lately which is very unlike me." She added, "There is emotional overwhelm or numbness, both are coping mechanisms." Paul and Mortensen remain embroiled in a custody battle over their 2-year-old son, Ever, after several domestic violence incidents and police investigations.

In March, Mortensen took Paul to court, alleging she had been physically violent, and was granted sole custody.
