Target launched another Pokémon collection over the weekend and many items, from themed windbreakers to kickballs, quickly sold out both online and in stores. Workers say the company is instituting a new policy on product purchase limits, and that some stores are beginning to enforce an existing reseller rule.

Customers are sharing flyers they say they found in stores that state Target is limiting people to one purchase per Pokémon product. The collection’s official page also says the retailer will only allow the purchase of one item per person "to give more fans a chance to shop." Some flyers specify that similar limits apply to trading cards as well as new merch.

Last week, footage of a worker slashing open Pokémon card boxes to prevent resale went viral; staff said that action was not a company mandate, though workers alleged Target expressed support for stores adopting the practice.
