Tao Group relaunches Avenue Sky Lounge with Knicks celebration

Tao Group unveiled the Avenue Sky Lounge atop 30 Hudson Yards, and the grand opening doubled as a celebration of the New York Knicks’ win over the San Antonio Spurs. VIPs including French Montana, G-Eazy, Simon Huck and DJ Clue packed the rooftop club while other guests watched from the newly renovated Peak restaurant.

Organizers felt a bit of panic when the Knicks trailed for two quarters, since they had been counting on a victory to draw a larger postgame crowd. Travis Barker opened the evening with a performance at The Edge; his wife Kourtney Kardashian watched nearby in a roped-off section with Simon Huck, and the trio later joined the VIP bash at Avenue.

The launch also brought out Ava Dash, Brandon Fallis, Alison Brod, Gary Vee, Jeff Zolaznik, Jonathan Sachwartz, Hannah Bronfman, Henrik Lundqvist, Kyle Cooke, Ramona Singer and Tao Group’s Noah Tepperberg, who attended with his wife Melissa.
