One year after its premiere, Echo Valley has found a new audience on streaming, with viewers revisiting what some consider Sydney Sweeney's best work. The R-rated thriller co-stars Julianne Moore, Domhnall Gleeson and Fiona Shaw, and was directed by Michael Pearce, written by Brad Ingelsby and produced by Ridley Scott.

Critical reaction at release was mixed, leaving the film with a 53% Rotten Tomatoes score and a 50% audience rating. Some reviewers called it "an escalating series of twists and turns leading to a thrilling (albeit preposterous) conclusion," while others praised its "juicy narrative hook, strong writing and flinthead-sharp performances."
