Sydney Sweeney defends risque 'Euphoria' scenes with behind-the-scenes photos

Sydney Sweeney, 28, posted a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram on Sunday, May 31, sharing images from the HBO series. Several shots show her posing provocatively and wearing little; she captioned the pictures, "It's called... acting." Her character, Cassie Howard, has a controversial arc this season that includes joining OnlyFans and a raunchy sex scene with a movie star played by Homer Gere.

Sweeney has filmed many topless and near-nude scenes for season 3, and Cassie also marries Nate, played by Jacob Elordi. The show has included provocative moments in earlier seasons as well, from a climax on a carousel in season 1 to a nude scene on a bearskin rug in season 2.
