Sydney Sweeney addresses 'Euphoria' cast feud rumors

Sydney Sweeney blamed the media for spreading rumors that she and her Euphoria co-stars were feuding behind the scenes. “We all grew up together on this show,” she said in an interview. “It’s honestly crazy to watch how much social media and the press spin things,” the "Anyone But You" actress added.

She pushed back on suggestions that scheduling conflicts delayed the series, explaining, “I was in first position to HBO. So the moment they say, ‘Hey, this is the first day of filming,’ I’m legally not allowed to do anything else. So my schedule doesn’t affect the show.” She also noted, “All of us were in first position, so it wasn’t like any of our schedules were holding it up.” Still, reports have linked Sweeney and Zendaya to tensions, saying the pair avoided each other at the Season 3 premiere and that differences in political views created a divide.

Other accounts went further, alleging Sweeney once had feelings for Zendaya’s husband, Tom Holland. Not everyone agrees the cast is at odds.
