Swordflight is an ongoing mod campaign for Neverwinter Nights, created and expanded by Rogueknight333 since 2008. Presented as a series of discrete modules, it has earned a reputation for clever design and high difficulty, a hobby project grown into a lengthy D&D saga.

Made with the Aurora Toolset, Swordflight sits among fan projects like the Alazander modules and the Aielund Saga. Its first chapter arrived in 2008 and the most recent in 2022, with at least one more chapter planned; the series aims to capture the experience of returning to the same character and dungeon master over years.

The creator leans into low-level play rather than rushing players toward midgame power. The opening chapter can last more than ten hours and reaching level five often requires an optimized, completionist approach. Swordflight extends potion durations while restricting rest to locked inns, turning play into careful planning, resource management, and creative use of consumable magic items; versatile multiclass builds and adaptability are rewarded.
