'Supernatural' Comic Finale Sets Aug. 26, 2026 Release

Dynamite Entertainment's 10-issue Supernatural comic series will conclude with issue #10, which goes on sale on Aug. 26, 2026. The run began in Oct. 2025 and follows Sam and Dean driving their 1967 Chevrolet Impala between the first two seasons of the TV show.

The story is set after John Winchester traded his life for Dean's with Azazel (then known as Yellow Eyes). While many plot details remain under wraps, the publisher teases Sam and Dean facing "one final foe (for now!)," and recent issues have shifted from ghosts and demons to killer robots and other monsters the brothers have not encountered before.

Supernatural aired from 2005 to 2020 across The WB and The CW, running 15 seasons and becoming the longest-running fantasy TV series in U.S. history. A 2022 spin-off, The Winchesters, lasted one season. After Jensen Ackles appeared as Soldier Boy on The Boys, Season 5 reunited him with Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins. All 15 seasons are available to stream on Peacock and Prime Video.
