NBC's fall schedule is set, with the NFL opening the season on Wednesday, September 9 and the first Sunday Night Football telecast following on September 13. Both NBC and Peacock will carry the season's games. The season kicks off September 9 with the World Champion Seattle Seahawks hosting the New England Patriots in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl.

The first Sunday night game airs September 13, when the Dallas Cowboys visit the New York Giants in the Giants' first game under new head coach John Harbaugh. Sunday Night Football heads into the fall aiming to maintain its perch as the No. 1 primetime program for the last 15 years, with all games streaming on Peacock as well as airing on NBC.

NBC's broader fall lineup features The Traitors: New Blood beginning its network run on September 17; The Voice premiering September 21 with new coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green and the drama Line of Fire following that premiere.
