How to watch Summer Game Fest Live 2026 as rumors swirl

After PlayStation State of Play earlier this week, attention turns to Summer Game Fest. Geoff Keighley's yearly event is the big multiplatform showcase for the season, with publishers joining to announce upcoming projects. Occasionally Xbox and Sony appear at these events alongside their usual June showcases.

Capcom has reserved its biggest announcements for Keighley shows in recent years, and a Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake and Street Fighter 6 Season 4 featuring Tifa from Final Fantasy 7 are among the rumors circulating. While Onimusha: Way of the Sword received a release date at State of Play, Resident Evil Requiem DLC and updates on Mega Man: Dual Override remain absent and could surface at the show.

Many expect Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 to be announced, with developers teasing that more news is coming and Rebirth having been revealed at the 2023 Summer Game Fest. Nate the Hate, who has recently leaked a new Star Fox game, also says he expects to see Part 3 at this event.
