Summer Game Fest 2026: start time and how to watch

Summer Game Fest 2026’s kickoff event streams globally on Friday, June 5, promising new game reveals, announcements, and world premiere trailers. Host and creator Geoff Keighley says viewers can expect the "biggest Summer Game Fest live show yet" during the two-hour broadcast.

Confirmed appearances include Star Wars Zero Company (Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment), Clutch (Maverick Games), Blood Message (NetEase), Dead by Daylight, Guild Wars 2, and Among Us, but that's just scratching the surface. Even after this week's PlayStation State of Play broadcast, gaming fans can expect big things from Summer Game Fest this year.

Keighley will co-host with Lucy James, formerly of GameSpot. The live show comes from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles; after it wraps, Day of the Devs will livestream a separate showcase focused on smaller indie and creative games. Summer Game Fest begins at 2 p.m.
