Stranger Things breaks Netflix rule with complete 4K Blu-ray box set
Nearly six months after its divisive series finale, Stranger Things is coming to disc: Netflix has partnered with Arrow Video to release Stranger Things: The Complete Series on Blu-ray and 4K UHD, breaking a long-standing rule against physical media. The show ran five seasons, 42 episodes and over 2,500 minutes, and accumulated more than 1.2 billion total views, making it the platform's most-watched series.
The 25-disc collection contains every episode across Special and Deluxe editions in both Blu-ray and 4K formats, and features bonus material such as bloopers, cast and crew interviews, and behind-the-scenes featurettes. The Deluxe edition adds a 148-page booklet, art cards, a Hellfire Club patch, double-sided posters for each season and other extras, along with new and original artwork and collectibles.
Pricing ranges from the Special Blu-ray at $199.99/£149.99 to the Deluxe 4K UHD at $269.99/£219.99, with the box set arriving in the U.K. on Jul. 27 and in the U.S. and Canada on Jul. 28.
