Stellar Blade and Other Big RPGs Headed to Switch 2
The June Nintendo Direct announced a wave of ports coming to Switch 2, with several high-profile role-playing games among them.
Stellar Blade, Lies of P, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 are all slated for Switch 2 in 2026, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword will also be released. Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, an expanded version of Capcom’s 2024 RPG, is due on October 9, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives on September 25 alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC versions. Lies of P will include its Overture expansion.
Atlus’ Metaphor: Refantazio, a medieval fantasy take on the Persona formula, is set for Switch 2 on November 12. Other ports revealed in the Direct include Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition, arriving June 23 with a 60fps mode, plus Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Lords of the Fallen 2.
After 12 months of waiting, many third-party developers appear to have received Switch 2 dev kits and are moving to bring their older titles to the new console.
