Valve has announced prices for the Steam Machine, its new SteamOS-powered gaming PC. Available configurations in USD are: 512 GB for $1,049; 2 TB for $1,349; 512 GB with Steam Controller for $1,128; and 2 TB with Steam Controller for $1,428. Both 2 TB models include two additional faceplates, red fabric and solid walnut, attached with magnets, and Valve will release the CAD files.

The Steam Controller costs $99 on its own, but the controller bundle adds only $79, making the bundle better value; controller availability is uncertain and you may end up having to wait until 2027 to buy one separately. To manage limited supply, Valve is using a randomized reservation system: sign up for the model or bundle you want anytime before Thursday June 25th at 10 a.m.

Pacific, when signups close and a one-time randomization will determine reservation order.
