GTA 6 pre-orders are set to go live on June 25, and fresh Geekbench results suggest the Steam Machine could launch next week. Valve has not confirmed an official release date, though prior leaks point to reviews arriving on June 23 and a possible sale two days later.

Even if both launches land in the same week, GTA 6 will not be available on PC at day one. The game will be limited to PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 19, so Valve’s new box won’t be the platform for a day-one experience. The Steam Machine’s custom RDNA 3 GPU is expected to resemble an AMD Radeon RX 7600, but PC players face less uniform optimization than console users.

On a vanilla PS5, GTA 6 is likely to run at 4K 30fps; a realistic target for the Steam Machine would be around 1440p 60fps with help from upscaling tools such as AMD FSR 4.1, while 4K 60fps could prove out of reach without compromises. If Rockstar follows the GTA 5 pattern, the game should eventually arrive on PC.
