My most anticipated fighting game has an awesome demo out now where you can brawl with a bunch of giant, scarily quick frogs who wreak havoc by slapping you across the face with their tongues or belly flopping onto you. But, it seems, those frogs are proving to be too much of a challenge for players.

The awkwardly titled BREKEKEKEX is a third-person, single-player anime fighting game "vaguely inspired by Smash Bros. and Naruto," according to developer nohost, and it's not hard to see how. All your slashes and special moves are governed by directional inputs rather than button combos, hence the Super Smash Bros.

DNA. The deadly frogs are what made me exclaim 'holy Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm,' along with the game's anime-style characters and swaying third-person camera that looks absolutely sick in motion. "The difficulty curve is for sure too steep though it's encouraging that some people have said it becomes more fun with practice/experimentation," nohost tweets.
