Celebrities gathered to kick off NYC Pride weekend at the exclusive “Café Kallmeyer” soirée on Thursday night. Designer Daniella Kallmeyer and artistic director Gabriel Hendifar hosted the event at interdisciplinary design studio Apparatus in Midtown, which also marked Kallmeyer’s 40th birthday.

Guests from fashion, film, music, design and culture attended, including actresses Britt Lower, Louisa Jacobson and Abbi Jacobson, musician Maggie Rogers, designer Jackson Wiederhoeft, media figure Derek Blasberg and model Toni Garrn. They sipped Yola mezcal martinis and enjoyed a specially crafted dinner service by Chef Jeremiah Stone while DJ Chelsea Leyland provided music.

Attendees were gifted “Kall Gal” t-shirts served on silver platters as a nod to the community around Kallmeyer’s brand; Lower and Kallmeyer wore the tees throughout the evening. Live performances included a choreographed dance led by Kevin Stea with dancers Javier Madrid and Charlie Sue Birznieks.
