Stand With Crypto UK is urging its 286,000 members to challenge British banks that are restricting transfers to cryptocurrency exchanges, saying blanket limits on transactions to regulated platforms are curbing access to digital assets. The group contends many restrictions apply even to exchanges registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and do not reflect individual customer risk profiles.

The campaign cites a UK Cryptoassets Business Council report that found 40% of crypto transactions are blocked or restricted by UK banks. One exchange recorded nearly 1 billion British pounds in declined transactions over a year due to bank-side rejections, and 80% of surveyed platforms reported an increase in blocked or restricted transfers.

Members can use a tool on the campaign website to generate letters challenging transfer restrictions, with bank responses expected to shape the campaign's next steps. "Your money. Your choice." is the campaign tag line.
