Spike Lee, 69, appeared to reject Prince Harry’s handshake during Game 5 of the NBA Finals at Frost Bank Center in Texas, where the New York Knicks faced the San Antonio Spurs. The filmmaker watched the Duke of Sussex, 41, hug someone in the stands before leaning down to say something to him.

When Harry noticed Lee pointing at him he doubled back and extended his hand, but Lee did not immediately return the gesture and the duke placed his palm against the director’s stomach. The pair ultimately shook hands and continued to chat; Lee pointed to himself as Harry walked away and Harry answered with an affirmative finger point.

The interaction may have touched on Harry’s old secret Facebook account under the alias Spike Wells, which Lee has mentioned publicly. Lee previously said he asked Prince William to find out why the account existed and told viewers, “When I know, you’ll know.” The account once featured photos Harry posted with then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy and has been linked to his longtime nickname and military alias.
