Nicolas Cage's Spider-Noir Tops Taylor Sheridan's Dutton Ranch in Streaming
Few forces in TV have had the run Taylor Sheridan has enjoyed. Yellowstone became a major small‑screen sensation and spawned prequels that dug into the Dutton family’s earlier years, while other Sheridan projects — Mayor of Kingstown, Landman, Tulsa King and Lioness — have also performed well and frequently appeared in streaming top tens.
Nielsen data placed Nicolas Cage’s Spider‑Noir ahead of the Yellowstone sequel Dutton Ranch for the week of May 25–31. Spider‑Noir logged 851 million minutes streamed to Dutton Ranch’s 782 million, a close margin that left them second and third behind Netflix’s The Boroughs, which led the list with 1,738 million minutes.
All eight episodes of Spider‑Noir were available that week, while Dutton Ranch had only four episodes released; on a per‑episode average Dutton Ranch outperformed Spider‑Noir, and it could overtake in total minutes as more episodes arrive.
