Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Confirms Savage Hulk Return

The new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer teases a meaner, greener side of Bruce Banner — Savage Hulk. After another shirt-ripping, pants-tearing transformation the Hulk towers over the web-slinger, and Spider-Man quips, "I didn't know you could get that big!" Hasbro's Spider-Man: Brand New Day toy line also lists the Savage Green Hulk incarnation.

Banner warns in the trailer, "If you see me with this off, run," referring to the gamma-dampening inhibitor device he wears to stay human. The device inevitably comes off, and a thunderclap sends the Hulk flying, suggesting a return to a less controlled, more monstrous version of the character.

Once merged as the brainy, brawny Smart Hulk, Banner appears to regress after falling under the telepathic influence of a mysterious hooded woman.
