Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones fall to $378 for Amazon Prime Day

Sony's WH-1000XM6 headphones have dropped to $378 during Amazon Prime Day, an 18% discount and the lowest price the model has reached.

The headphones use an upgraded QN3 processor and a 12-microphone array to deliver adaptive active noise canceling, capable of muting background chatter at a farmer's market or a busy Starbucks. Sound is described as warm and smooth with minimal high-frequency peaks, and the XM6s support spatial audio; upgraded beamforming mics improve call clarity.

Design tweaks from the previous generation include a foldable build, a dedicated power button to prevent accidental presses, and a more secure fit. Other features include roughly 30 hours of battery life with ANC on, Head Gestures for answering or declining calls, and EQ customization via the SoundConnect app.
