Sofía Vergara and Shakira Shine Together in New Photo

Sofía Vergara took advantage of a break in filming Season 21 of America's Got Talent to attend Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California on June 14. She had a front-row seat and spent time backstage with Shakira. On June 15 Vergara posted a photo of the two on Instagram, wearing a Colombia-inspired tank top and captioning it "Que emoción tan grande !!!!

Divina !!! @shakira ❤️😘," which she loosely translated as "What a thrill!" She also shared live concert footage showing her dancing in the front row, and at one point Shakira sent her a wink. Shakira captioned a Story of Vergara with "Alegria Barranquillera." The phrase nods to their shared hometown, Barranquilla, a coastal port city in northern Colombia.

The town has honored Vergara and Shakira with larger-than-life statues. In a July 2025 Instagram post Vergara wrote, "Thank you my beautiful Barranquilla for this gift!
