Silo Season 3 Review: Deeper Into Sci-Fi
Silo's third season slowly brings its story together. Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) was miraculously saved from the blaze but mysteriously lost all memories of what happened, while Silo 18 appears to be under imminent threat. The 10-episode season takes its time to build, flipping between present day and hundreds of years ago as it largely adapts Hugh Howey's second book, Shift.
Flashbacks expand the cast — Ashley Zukerman as Daniel and Jessica Henwick as Helen — but rapid-fire changeovers and teaser after teaser can create a disconnect. The payoff, when it arrives, is surprising: villains become heroes and heroes become villains, secrets about relics, Jules' memory loss and the mysterious AI voice that influenced Bernard (Tim Robbins) and now grips Camille (Alexandria Riley) come into focus.
