Silo season 3 looks a lot like Fallout

Apple TV’s twisty dystopian mystery Silo returns for a third season on July 3, and a new trailer suggests it will borrow the structure of Prime Video’s Fallout by alternating between timelines. The first two seasons were set in a future where 10,000 people live in a massive underground structure and quickly die if they venture outside.

This season shifts more between past and near-future scenes to answer questions about how the world ended and who is really in control; season 2 closed with a glimpse of a near future where fears of nuclear war run high after Iran supposedly detonated a dirty bomb on U.S.

soil. The trailer shows a crowd, including journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick), visiting the Silo network at a time when the surrounding land was still green.
