From the creator of Citizen Sleeper comes Signet City. Developer Jump Over the Age, led by Gareth Damian Martin, unveiled a dark, moody RPG set in a British city overtaken by a mega-fungus.

The world premiere trailer at the PC Gaming Show is hand-drawn by Martin. It follows a punkish figure waking in a puddle and wandering under familiar railway bridges, with glimpses of a mushroom-infested tower block.

Visually it departs from the bright space stations of Citizen Sleeper, but Martin's anti-capitalist motifs remain. The trailer highlights squalid conditions—black mould, cramped flats, standing water—and graffiti reading "this city is a corpse" and "fuck off bailiffs." The track "Abandon" by Irish post-punk band Sprints accompanies the footage.

Many questions remain—who you play, why a fungal wasteland surrounds the city, and what the smouldering obelisk is—but the trailer offers atmosphere over answers. Wishlist the game on Steam to follow updates.
