Shirley MacLaine, 91, photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu
Shirley MacLaine, 91, stepped out for a rare public outing and was photographed linking arms with a male companion as she left Nobu in Malibu, Calif., on Sunday, Pagesix reported.
The Hollywood icon wore a T-shirt and khaki pants for the daytime outing. MacLaine is seldom seen in public; earlier this month she was pictured bundled up during a rainy lunch, and in December she attended the Dance Hall of Fame’s inaugural ceremony to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.
MacLaine has said her longevity comes from a “healthy” lifestyle and long dance training: “I started my dance training at age 3 and stopped at about 67,” she told People in April 2024. She has continued to work on small projects, appeared in two episodes of Only Murders in the Building and the 2022 film American Dreamer, and released a memoir, The Wall of Life, in 2024. Her career began on Broadway in the 1950s in The Pajama Game, she made her on-screen debut in the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock comedy The Trouble with Harry, and she has been nominated for six Academy Awards, winning best actress for Terms of Endearment (1983).
