Gorgeous Metroidvania SHADE Protocol hits 150,000 wishlists, smashes Kickstarter

Developer Little Legendary surpassed its $40,000 Kickstarter goal in a single day for SHADE Protocol, and the campaign has since raised $275,420, nearly seven times that base target. The game also reached more than 150,000 Steam wishlists, gained 10,000 followers, and passed $230,000 on Kickstarter all in the same day.

Singer Emi Evans, best known for her work on NieR Automata and Dark Souls, shared that she was a stretch goal for the project, and donations flooded in after her post. Little Legendary captured the moment on Twitter, exclaiming, "Don't wake me up please!" The campaign says the soundtrack should now be able to feature Evans alongside veteran Mega Man composer / stretch goal number three Matsumae Manami.
