Set Photos Confirm Elodie Yung’s Elektra Returns in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3

New set photos from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 confirm Elodie Yung will return as Elektra Natchios. It will be her first time in the role since 2017's The Defenders, after a major supporting turn in 2016's Daredevil Season 2. Yung is seen wearing a form-fitting red-and-black suit, with dark red fabric wrapped around her hands and forearms, and wielding her classic pair of sai.

Elektra has died twice in the Defenders Saga. She first sacrificed herself at the end of Season 2, stabbed by Nobu and dying in Matt Murdock's arms before the Hand resurrected her as the prophesied "Black Sky." After regaining her memories and control at the end of The Defenders, she stayed behind in the Midland Circle explosion with Matt, both seeming to perish.

How she is resurrected for a second time is the central question as the series moves forward. Her return adds another high-level fighter to New York City while the Defenders prepare to reassemble; Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is now filming and is expected to be released in Mar.
