Scarlett Johansson's The Exorcist Reboot Wraps Production
Filmmaker Mike Flanagan has confirmed that his new take on The Exorcist has finished production. Photos from the movie's set were unveiled last week, and Flanagan posted an image of an inverted cross from a priest's robes on Instagram with the caption, "That’s a wrap.
What an incredible experience. Forever grateful to this extraordinary cast and crew!" Flanagan, who wrote the screenplay for the DCU horror movie Clayface, found success on television with The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher.
Scarlett Johansson, who stars in the reboot, debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2010's Iron Man 2, appeared in various Avengers films and the solo Black Widow movie that served as a send-off, and last year joined Jurassic World Rebirth, which added $869.1 million to her career box-office totals.
