Samsung undercuts Apple with discounted Galaxy SmartTag2 trackers
Amazon is selling Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag2 in a four-pack for $52, which works out to about $13 per tracker; single units are listed at $19. The offer applies to the newer SmartTag2 model and follows a redesign and upgrades over the predecessor. The SmartTag2 is built for the Samsung ecosystem and requires a Galaxy smartphone or tablet running Android 11 or later.
Setup is minimal—register the tag, pair it, and it integrates with SmartThings Find. Samsung boosted durability with an IP67 water and dust resistance rating and improved battery life to up to 500 days on a single charge; Power Saving Mode can extend that further.
Those specs make the tag suitable for items that see real-world wear, from keys to a hiking pack. Single trackers in this category typically run $25 to $35, so four units for $52 is competitive, and the pack includes two black and two white tags for easy identification.
