Sabrina Carpenter granted 5-year restraining order
A judge has granted Sabrina Carpenter a five-year restraining order against 31-year-old William Applegate, who she says repeatedly tried to enter her Los Angeles home. The order bars Applegate from coming within 100 yards of Carpenter, her sister and her sister’s partner — who live with her — and prohibits him from possessing firearms or attempting to contact her.
Carpenter alleged Applegate attempted to enter the residence more than a dozen times and was arrested after striking a security guard and reaching her front door last month; he returned days later. A temporary restraining order was issued on May 29. Carpenter was set to testify remotely but was not ultimately called.
