Directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared a Doctor Doom logo on Instagram with the caption "#DomLatveria 4b Holywell Ln London EC2A 3ET. Starts June 2nd at 10am BST. Surprise at 2pm BST." The post follows an earlier image of the color green, likely a nod to Doom's costume.

Latveria is the fictional dictatorship ruled by Doctor Doom, and the address given corresponds to a London coffee shop called Flying Horse. Online searches have so far produced no obvious connections between the venue and Marvel or the Russos.

Fans are already speculating about the promised "surprise," with some expecting an appearance by Robert Downey Jr., who has a history of turning up at fan events and was part of the memorable San Diego Comic-Con Doom reveal. The Russos' marketing for Avengers: Doomsday has been unconventional, including a lengthy casting-reveal livestream that left some announcements, like Kathryn Newton's, to come later.
