A sub-$1,800 RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC has appeared: the MSI Codex Z2 is listed for $1,749 at Walmart. After months of higher prices, this is the first time in a while a 5070 Ti rig has been this affordable. The RTX 5070 Ti delivers strong performance for the price.

It sits not far behind the RTX 5080, overclocks well, and is broadly on par with the RX 9070 XT, while also offering wider support for the latest frame‑generation and upscaling technologies. That combination makes it capable of running modern games on highest settings at 1440p and in many cases at 4K.

There are a few trade-offs to bear in mind. The build is light on RAM at this price point, so you may want to limit background apps; the Ryzen 7 8700F used here is essentially a repurposed mobile chip with lower clocks and less L3 cache, which can impact CPU‑heavy titles and low‑resolution play.
