Rosie O'Donnell said she decided to have a facelift after receiving well-meaning but clumsy comments about her appearance in Ireland. People would ask, “Are you upset, luv? What’s the matter, darling?” she said at the 2026 Tony Awards Sunday, noting the queries were prompted by her “very deep marionette lines from losing all the weight from Mounjaro.” She explained she wasn’t in a bad mood — “No, it’s just my face” — and wanted those lines removed.

The procedure focused on the lower portion of her face, from the nose down, and she later shared before-and-after photos along with the remark that it “cost more money than [she has] ever paid for a car.” O'Donnell said she had long vowed never to get a facelift, calling them a “betrayal” of feminism, but began to change her mind after losing 50 pounds with the weight-loss drug and noticing deeper marionette lines.
