Rockstar offers free PS5 and Xbox Series upgrades and teases Kortz Center Heist

GTA Online's Kortz Center Heist arrives in July, and anyone who owns GTA 5 on PS4 or Xbox One can upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions at no extra cost starting tomorrow.

In the weeks before the heist the game will be brimming with ways to prepare: players can refine their real estate with a Mansion property and add an Art Studio to host solo Heists, scope out the Kortz Center and plan a multi-stage robbery to secure priceless works. Special events will offer bonus GTA$, record-breaking discounts, and chances to claim rare and exclusive pieces through the Fine Art Collector program.

The next-gen upgrades bring technical improvements along with Hao's Special Works high-performance vehicles and other enhancements. Some players briefly mistook the announcement for a GTA 6 reveal, but GTA Online and Red Dead Online will continue as Rockstar ramps up GTA 6 marketing this summer.
