Rockstar Games said it will open preorders for Grand Theft Auto 6 on Thursday, June 25, following the reveal of the official cover art. The move reinforces the game's planned Nov. 19 release this fall, which now appears all but set in stone. Pre-orders will begin "on digital storefronts and at other select retailers," Rockstar said in a post on X.

The company did not announce pricing; the game can already be wishlisted on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, suggesting the highly debated price will be revealed next week. Rockstar also released the final cover art, featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia alongside a variety of non-playable characters and strong Vice City vibes.

The artwork follows the series' style established in Grand Theft Auto 3, depicting the range of activities and criminal elements the games are known for, and is available to download as wallpaper from Rockstar's official GTA 6 website. The start of preorders marks one of the industry's biggest commercial moments in years.
