Felipe Chavez, co-founder and CEO of Robot.com, describes a future in which robots handle the repetitive physical work that pushes people to quit. During a visit to the company's San Francisco headquarters he played a Chobani commercial with the whimsy of a Studio Ghibli movie, illustrating a solarpunk-like world where animals, people, and machines coexist.

"The mission that we have as a company is to bring automation to the physical world, to free human beings from labor that they don't want to do and that they can now actually pursue their meaningful life," he said. Chavez traces the idea back to his early delivery days.

Before Kiwibot became Robot.com, he ran a grocery-delivery startup in Colombia and sometimes completed deliveries himself, which he found exhausting and boring.
