Rick and Morty Spin-Off 'President Curtis' Sets July 26 Premiere

A new trailer confirms the Rick and Morty spin-off President Curtis will debut on Adult Swim on July 26 at 11:30 p.m., immediately following the Season 9 finale. The pilot was first shown to audiences at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and the series will be available to stream on HBO Max the following day.

Created by Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, the show follows President Andre Curtis and his eccentric staff as they handle crises Rick Sanchez typically ignores. Keith David returns as Curtis, and Stephanie Beatriz and Jim Rash join the cast. The trailer leans into an X‑Files–style setup with monsters, investigations and crude humor, a tone Harmon has described as “more X‑Files than Doctor Who.” Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen said, "There's no better animation‑loving crowd than Annecy, which makes it the perfect place to debut this new series.
