Rich Paul gives rare insight into romance with Adele, reveals how they met

Rich Paul said he met fiancée Adele "through a friend" and had "known her for some time," describing their early connection as something that "happened very organically" amid shared social circles. He admitted he’d heard her "monster hits" but hadn’t listened to many of the deeper cuts.

The pair kept running into one another at events, and he recalled, "We just used to always see each other, laugh and joke. It was just cordial, really," adding that it stayed cordial "until it became not so cordial" and he "became a person of interest." He also joked he’s "the best singer in the house." The couple sparked romance rumors in 2021 and made a public debut at an NBA game that summer.

They were seen at the 2023 Grammys, and Adele confirmed their engagement in August 2024 after three years of dating.
