Fan-made endless runner Revenant Run lets Nightfarer sprint through Elden Ring

Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware's surprise roguelike spin-off, seems to have wrapped up major updates after the Forsaken Hollows DLC. With little sign of more official content, some fans have been building their own projects instead.

Animator and artist Keith Garces and programmer Spagato recently released an endless runner called Revenant Run that stars the short doll Nightfarer and the oversized sword fans love to meme. Players smash monsters, collect runes, level up and try not to run into trees.

The game includes playful nods to Nightreign enemies, such as the pumpkin-headed big guy and the little pot boys; Revenant cuts through them in a single swipe and keeps racing toward the right as if drawn to an even bigger sword. The release leans into Flash-era nostalgia and is available on Itch.io, a spot where fan projects continue to keep that spirit alive.
