Lorraine Schwarz, 70, sold her two-bedroom condo in Westminster, Colorado, in October 2025 using Ridley, an AI-powered online platform rather than a traditional real-estate agent. She paid about $5,000 for the service, staging, and photos instead of a typical 5% commission that would have been $21,250, saving roughly $16,000.

Schwarz has bought and sold several properties over her life and long disliked paying commissions. She became a fan of Ridley after reading an article about its founder, Mike Chambers, and valued that the platform lists homes on the MLS so they appear on sites like Zillow and Redfin.

As president of her 64-unit HOA, she knew local comps and felt confident pricing her condo; Ridley’s pricing aligned with her own. Ridley walked her through the questions needed to generate a listing, and an agent answered a couple of technical items, but she did about 99% of the work herself and even used ChatGPT to help write the listing.
