Rebel Wolves says Dawnwalker's post-credits scene was shown early
If you watched the Summer Game Fest trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker and noticed modern-day CG footage, you’ve already seen the game’s post-credits scene. Rebel Wolves studio founder and game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirmed at Summer Game Fest Play Days that the modern-day footage is the end-credits scene, and the studio showed it early as part of plans to build a connected franchise like Mass Effect or The Witcher.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in 14th-century Europe and follows Coen, a Dawnwalker trying to stop vampires using the Black Death. Tomaszkiewicz calls it an ambitious, Witcher-like RPG that can run up to 70 hours, with choices that shape both the narrative and how characters react.
The team says there will be over 100 cutscenes and 500 dialogue exchanges, but players get only 30 in-game days and nights and time advances as quests are completed, so no single playthrough will reveal everything.
