Real Madrid complete world-record signing of Felicia Schroder
Real Madrid have completed the signing of Swedish teenager Felicia Schroder from BK Hacken for a world-record fee in women's football. The 19-year-old striker has signed a four-year contract running until June 30, 2030, a move that leaves Chelsea frustrated after their earlier £1.2 million bid failed to secure her signature.
Hacken confirmed the sale as the most expensive transfer ever seen in women's football. Martin Ericsson, the football director at Hacken, said: "It is a historic sale that strengthens both women's football and BK Hacken's position internationally." Schroder signed her first senior contract with Hacken in the spring of 2023 and quickly emerged as a leading talent.
She won the Damallsvenskan Most Valuable Player award in 2025, topping the scoring charts with 30 goals, and recorded 91 goals and 18 assists in 128 appearances. "I cannot thank them enough for the trust I have received since the start.
