Mia Thornton, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac, was accused of Photoshopping her face onto influencer Sophie O’Neill’s body in a since-deleted Instagram post. Thornton’s upload showed a woman in a white dress with a plunging neckline holding a small white Birkin — an image that closely resembled a snap O’Neill posted in 2025.

O’Neill confronted Thornton in the comments: “@mrsmiathornton — super imposing yourself onto my picture. The world is a very scary place these days — this is just sad. Please can you remove the picture of ME with your head on it. Thanks.” After the confrontation, Thornton posted another photo of herself seated inside a restaurant wearing the same dress.

“Never needed clout,” she captioned the image. “My name carries enough weight on its own.” She also added, “Let me guess, what’s her name has a photo sitting down inside the restaurant too.” Many fans were unconvinced. “She didn’t even try to hide it,” one person wrote.
