'Reacher' Suffers Major Setback on Streaming Ahead of Season 4
Reacher has been knocked out of Prime Video's weekly Top 10 streaming charts in both the U.S. and globally, losing ground as new releases arrive ahead of the show's fourth season. New competition includes the final season of The Boys, the debut of Spider-Noir and the R-rated drama Off Campus, alongside other action titles such as Fallout, Invincible, Citadel and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.
The series had fought to maintain a Top 10 position since its last season, released in Feb. 2025, but only recently fell out of the rankings. Based on Lee Child's novels, the series generally adapts one book per season, and Alan Ritchson has been widely praised as fitting the role.
Ritchson's earlier work ranges from Blue Mountain State and Smallville to roles in the Fast & Furious franchise, Netflix's War Machine, Guy Ritchie's The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and the thriller Motor City. Prime Video has renewed Reacher for a fourth season; filming has wrapped and the season is now in post-production.
