NBC's Quantum Leap revival built a loyal fanbase around an endearing ensemble led by Raymond Lee. The series was cancelled after Season 2, which ended on a cliffhanger, and fans have launched multiple Change.org petitions to save it. NBC has yet to respond, but Lee says he hasn't given up on the idea of a Season 3.

The role of Ben Song remains important to him. "It meant everything to me, Ben, I mean, we want to talk about the through lines of a character with empathy. He was somebody who was also willing to go through time and space to save himself and others… It's very Ethan Hunt of him." The revival put Ben into a different stranger's body almost every episode, centering on second chances and the task of fixing life-changing mistakes.

While busy with Sugar Season 2, Lee was asked during a panel interview if he'd ever continue Ben's journey.
